An avatar text record as a URL an app may load: an https URL on a public host as written, or an
ipfs:// one through ipfsGateway. Anything else — an NFT reference (resolving it means fetching the
NFT’s metadata URL, which its issuer chooses), http://, data:, a private host — is null: nothing
is fetched to decide (scan 2026-10-27 modules, F37).
