SeedSigner

Defined in: signer.ts:97

A signer whose key came from a seed and that can derive children.

readonly curve: SignerCurve

Defined in: signer.ts:85

The curve this signer signs with. Chain packages assert the one they need.

Signer.curve

readonly kind: "seed"

Defined in: signer.ts:98

Where the key lives: derived from a seed, one imported key, or outside the SDK.

Signer.kind

readonly path: string

Defined in: signer.ts:100

The BIP-32 / SLIP-10 path this signer sits at (e.g. “m/44’/60’/0’/0/0”).

readonly schemes: readonly SignScheme[]

Defined in: signer.ts:87

Schemes this signer can produce; asking for another throws SignerError.

Signer.schemes

derive(relativePath): Promise<SeedSigner>

Defined in: signer.ts:102

Derive a child along relativePath (e.g. “0/1”). Hardened-only for ed25519.

string

Promise<SeedSigner>

optional deriveLeaf(relativePath): Promise<Signer>

Defined in: signer.ts:104

Like derive, but the child keeps only its own key (no seed copy) and cannot derive further. What managers use for accounts.

string

Promise<Signer>

dispose(): void

Defined in: signer.ts:93

Zeroize key material. Idempotent; the signer is unusable afterwards.

void

Signer.dispose

getPublicKey(): Promise<Uint8Array<ArrayBufferLike>>

Defined in: signer.ts:89

Compressed 33-byte secp256k1 or 32-byte ed25519 public key.

Promise<Uint8Array<ArrayBufferLike>>

Signer.getPublicKey

sign(payload, options?): Promise<Uint8Array<ArrayBufferLike>>

Defined in: signer.ts:91

Sign an already-hashed or already-serialised payload. Chains decide what the bytes are.
